  • Powell Memorial Library offers a Monthly Book Drop-Off Service to support early literacy in our community. This free program delivers rotating collections of high-quality children’s books directly to early childhood classrooms.

    How it works:
📚 Each classroom at your center will receive a bag of 20 carefully selected books each month.
📦 We’ll drop off the new books and pick up the previous set during our monthly visit.
📅 It’s completely free and designed to make it easy for teachers to access fresh, engaging reads.

Please note: Only center directors may enroll in this service.

  • Thank you for your interest in suggesting new materials for the library to purchase. You can place up to five (5) requests per month for titles that are not available at the library.  Prior to submission, verify the online card catalog to confirm the absence of the book in our existing collection. Various factors, such as adherence to the Collection Development Policy, popularity among readers, availability, and pricing, are considered in the acquisition process. If your suggested book is purchased, we will reach out to you using the contact information provided in the form.
